Cedric has been the CEO of QualWorld since 2014.

Prior to cofounding QualWorld with 4 other veterans of the industry, Cedric worked in the capacity of Vice President at WorldOne and was in charge of heading the Qualitative department globally, managing a team of 30 project managers and account executives around the world.

Cedric brings with him years of experience in fieldwork, project management and client services in healthcare market research. While working at AplusA (Lyon, France) and later at GfK Research Matters (Basel, Switzerland), he managed all phases of ad-hoc research projects in a number of therapeutic areas, from survey design to in-person presentation of findings to the sponsors of the research.

Cedric is a French native with a degree in international business and marketing (obtained in France) and an MBA in Management (obtained in Louisiana, USA).

“I am huge fan of improvisational theatre, especially improv comedy, both as a spectator and on stage. I have been an improv amateur comedian and instructor since 2008 myself. Maureen started her career as a social worker, then transitioned into the field of pharmaceutical marketing research. Her extensive experience fielding both domestic and international qualitative research, coupled with experience working in a healthcare setting, provides her an educated perspective on healthcare marketing research.

Maureen has her BS in social work and has completed some graduate course work as well. She has worked in the industry for over 15 years in a variety of roles. Prior to co-founding QualWorld, she has held positions at WorldOne, GfK Healthcare, TVG, and ICR in the role of Head of Qualitative Project Management, Director, Project Manager and Senior Field Manager. During this time, she has managed both qualitative and quantitative research, but her main concentration has been qualitative. Maureen is also a member of PMRG and PBirg.

Maureen enjoys working in such an innovative industry and company that she calls a family of friends. She values the ability to learn and grow in such an international and diverse community. She is always encouraging and ready to help her colleagues.

Brandy Lau is QualWorld’s Managing Partner Asia, responsible for all Asian operations. She co-founded QualWorld in 2014. She has been working as a qualitative researcher, project manager and moderator since 2003. She specializes in healthcare market research. Over the years, Brandy has provided valuable assistance in moderation, project management and execution in mainland China, Taiwan and Hong Kong.

Brandy has experience in a broad range of different types of research, such as product positioning and repositioning, brand image testing, advertising tests, detail aid testing patient pathways, concept testing, segmentations, exploratory and innovative medical device testing, etc.

Brandy graduated from medical school. Her moderation skills are of very high standard. Many clients request her to moderate qualitative studies in Chinese due to her ability to manage challenging discussion guides and tough interviews with a firm and pragmatic approach. Prior to launching the Asian operations of QualWorld Brandy was the Head of Qualitative Project Management at WorldOne from 2008 to 2013, and client’s executive, Senior project manager in Synovate Healthcare from 2003 to 2008.

Inga is a Project Management Director of the European team. Her added responsibilities include overseeing the project management team in her territory, providing continuity across projects and client experience and ensuring that all project managers execute and deliver projects in a smooth, timely and efficient manner.

Her responsibilities also include managing custom-designed qualitative studies globally. This involves coordinating internal resources and external partners for facility, fieldwork, and translations.

Inga has been working in market research for 12 years. During her professional career she had the opportunity to work across a variety of sectors and to manage hundreds of different international qualitative and quantitative projects, cope with challenging situations. She has been involved in all stages of surveys, from initiating the project to presenting final results. Inga worked in companies such as WorldOne (currently Sermo), Nielsen and Research Now. She has a bachelor degree in Sociology and is MRS certified.

Inga is passionate about market research and loves the everyday challenges it brings. She believes every day is different and you always need to be on the top of things. When not working, she unwinds through outdoor activities.

Myriam is Expert Solutions Director, based in France. She initially joined QualWorld in 2014 in the capacity of Senior Project Manager. She has a strong experience in leading a team of fieldwork coordinators. She has worked on multiple therapeutic areas such as Rheumatology, Cardiology, Oncology, etc. She can create questionnaires, value story and competitive readiness to increase sales of a drug. Since 2015, Myriam has been focusing on projects targeting difficult respondents’ types such as KOLs, Payers, High level physicians and experts across the world.

Prior to joining QualWorld, she started her career at AplusA managing both quantitative and qualitative studies. After this first experience she joined the customer services where she worked on all phases of ad-hoc researches and panel projects in various therapeutic areas. (e.g. writing the survey material, managing the fieldwork, analysing and presenting the results).

Myriam graduated with a Master’s Degree in Marketing and a second one in Management. She has over 15 years of experience in healthcare market research in Europe and the USA.

Roberto moved to London in 2006 where he lived for 5 years and completed a BA (Hons) in Accounting & Finance.

In 2009, Roberto started working in Market Research at WorldOne; at first in the Quantitative department and then as a Qualitative Researcher.

During his time at WorldOne, he worked on many projects and developed strong skills in the field.

Roberto grew fascinated by the healthcare MR world. Once he moved back to Italy, he kept working within the industry as a freelancer.

Branka speaks German and English, Slovenian and Croatian, and has basics in Italian and Hindi. She lived in three countries in Europe and was in India for a six months research stay. Karolina holds an MA in Political studies from Pedagogical University of Krakow. She also completed postgraduate studies in market and social research methodology from University of Warsaw. She speaks native Polish, fluent English and basic Spanish.

Being a qual-oriented researcher and moderator, she has extensive experience of conducting projects comprising qualitative and quantitative techniques. Formerly a scientific engineer, Anne-Claire showed a real interest in numbers that led her to join QualWorld in the capacity of Assistant Controller in 2014.

Her flexibility and reliability allows her to experience a “cost controller” position inside AREVA. She was in charge of following a 50 millions euros budget, using her software skills to build a strong control system. The recognition of the top management encouraged her to get a financial certificate in order to be legitimized.

Anne-Claire graduated with a Master’s Degree in Accounting and Finance in 2016.

Anne-Claire is recognized for her reliability and her ability to respect timelines. With her strong equipment skills, she’s always ready to help and solve team IT problems.

Sarah joined the QualWorld team in 2021, initially as an intern while completing her Master’s Degree. After this internship, she joined QualWorld’s Resources team, primarily as a translator and analyst, but she also assists the resources managers as a part of her daily tasks.

At first, she was not destined to work in the healthcare market research industry. She holds a degree in light engineering in performing art. But after a year of working abroad, she decided to go back to languages as she had always been drawn to them. She decided to go through a whole new university journey to achieve this goal and she obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Nordic languages as well as a Master’s degree in specialized translation. This led her to join the QualWorld resources team after a successful internship. Dedicated, patient and flexible, Sarah is also an easy person to work with. Translation and analysis tasks feed her hunger for research and learning.

In her free time, Sarah likes reading, watching movies and cooking.

Amandine has been working in the field of healthcare marketing research since 2007, starting her career as a Project Assistant at Interview Partners France, with a specialization in translation and analysis (including transcriptions). She also has 5 years of experience as a freelance senior translator / analyst in healthcare marketing research. These various experiences allowed her to prove her ability to produce quality work under pressure of tight deadlines and demanding clients’ needs.

In 2019, she joined QualWorld as a Resources Coordinator, thus enabling her to make the most of her experiences as both an in-house and freelance translator / analyst. Amandine obtained a Master’s Degree in Translation in 2005 at Lille 3 University and quickly specialized in the field of healthcare which she finds particularly interesting and challenging.

Amandine also gladly shares her experience as a breast cancer patient and admits she made this “life adventure” as she likes to call it a major strength, both professionally and personally. She’s determined, very organized, resilient and has her heart set on providing the greatest satisfaction.

Anne joined QualWorld in 2019 as Senior Research Consultant and internal expert of the Nordics and Benelux. She has been working in healthcare market research since 2009 as a translator, simultaneous interpreter, moderator, analyst and researcher.

Anne was born in Belgium and after she finished her MA in Germanic Philology, she moved to Gothenburg, Sweden. Until 2011 she worked as a freelance translator and interpreter. Originally a specialist in the automotive field, she switched to healthcare in 2009 Following a short period at IMS Health (now IQVIA) helping out with recruitment and CATI, she was offered a position of Linguistic Manager at QQFS in 2011. Soon after she also started moderating extensively. When she left QQFS in 2019 as Linguistic Manager and Senior Qualitative Researcher to join QualWorld, her colleagues joked that she probably knew more about certain medical subjects than some of the HCPs themselves.

Anne moderates in Dutch, English and Swedish and she has a good passive knowledge of French, German and Norwegian. She is also a state authorized interpreter with a special healthcare qualification. She is a very good listener and she always aims to make every interview a rewarding and pleasant experience for both the respondent and herself.

Andreea has been working in healthcare market research since 2009. She started her career at Zeste Research, a local, French agency as a Research Assistant, moving up to managing international qualitative projects, but also moderation, analysis, translation and quality assurance. In 2014 she started her freelance activity and focused on medical translation, moderation, analysis and pharmaceutical audits. Andreea obtained a Master’s Degree in Translations and Translation Project Management at the Charles de Gaulle University in Lille. She is trilingual in French-Romanian-English and has some knowledge of Italian and Spanish.

Andreea arrived in France in 2004 as an Erasmus exchange student, from her hometown in Romania, Brasov. Her Transylvanian roots are something that she is very proud of, even though she is now living in the North of France.

In 2019 Andreea joined QualWorld as a Resources Manager, her experience as a translator, moderator and analyst allows Andreea to better grasp the needs and requirements of a project, allowing her to be a reliable support for PMs and resources teams. Sara started her career in medical market research in 2007 when she joined QQFS as a recruiter. After having worked as a project manager, she mainly focused on moderation, analysis, report writing and translation. Sara held the position of Senior Qualitative Researcher & Moderator Training Manager when she left QQFS in 2020. During her 13 years at the company she also assumed the function of AE administrator.

Sara was born in the Netherlands, grew up in Norway and Sweden, studied in Germany and lived a short while in Denmark. Sara has studied drama, languages and loves writing.

She speaks Swedish, Norwegian, Dutch and English, and understands German fluently.

Julia has started working in market research as a Research Assistant in 2016 following her degree from the Julius-Maximilians-Universität in Würzburg in European Ethnology and English/American studies.

Since then, she has been engaged in many aspects of the field such as project management of small quantitative satisfaction surveys, assisting large scale quantitative studies, managing research projects using artificial intelligence and supporting qualitative research by means of content analyses.

Before joining QualWorld in 2019 as a Fieldwork Assistant, Julia had worked in Belfast, Northern Ireland for two years. One of them at fDi Intelligence, a research division of the Financial Times, and another year at Kantar Millward Brown.

Moving back to her native Germany in 2018, she has gained experience in psychographic profiling and semantic analysis using machine and deep learning techniques at Symanto.

Julia has since moved back to Belfast. Living abroad for many years, Julia is bilingual in English and her native German. She has immersive cultural and market related knowledge of the UK, Ireland and Germany.

Drawing, either pen on paper or digitally, is one of her many creative passions.

He has studied English, History and Media and Communication in his native Germany, the USA and in Sweden, where he has been living from 2005 until 2022.

Since 2010, Paolo was a key member of the team at Sermo, formerly WorldOne, in his role as Business Development Manager focusing on the qualitative offering for clients across Europe. His career progression in the company covered different positions in the Client Services area before moving into his role as Community and Growth Manager for Sermo’s worldwide social network for physicians in 2016.

Maureen has been the Managing Partner of North America since 2014.

Maureen started her career as a social worker, then transitioned into the field of pharmaceutical marketing research. Her extensive experience fielding both domestic and international qualitative research, coupled with experience working in a healthcare setting, provides her an educated perspective on healthcare marketing research.

Maureen has her BS in social work and has completed some graduate course work as well. She has worked in the industry in a variety of roles. Prior to co-founding QualWorld, she has held positions at WorldOne, GfK Healthcare, TVG, and ICR in the role of Head of Qualitative Project Management, Director, Project Manager and Senior Field Manager. During this time, she has managed both qualitative and quantitative research, but her main concentration has been qualitative.

Alicia has been with Qual World since the beginning of 2014. She is the Lead Project Manager of the US team. Previously, he managed the Fieldwork Department at the Analytical Group in Scottsdale, Arizona and began his career in market research at Plaza Research, as the Assistant Director of their Phoenix office.

He started in qualitative research in 2004 and has a vast background in fieldwork, project management and client services in consumer, healthcare, and political market research. Chad pursued his Bachelor of Science in business administration at Eastern New Mexico University in Portales, New Mexico.

Chad prides himself on being very client oriented; he knows the value of making clients satisfied by obtaining the opinions of exactly the type of respondents they are looking for and not just any run-of-the-mill respondent. He works with his clients on a daily basis to make sure all bases are covered and that they are getting exactly what they want out of their project.

Brandy Lau is QualWorld’s Managing Partner Asia, responsible for all Asian operations. She co-founded QualWorld in 2014. She has been working as a qualitative researcher, project manager and moderator since 2003. She specializes in healthcare market research. Over the years, Brandy has provided valuable assistance in moderation, project management and execution in mainland China, Taiwan and Hong Kong.

Brandy has experience in a broad range of different types of research, such as product positioning and repositioning, brand image testing, advertising tests, detail aid testing patient pathways, concept testing, segmentations, exploratory and innovative medical device testing, etc.

Brandy graduated from medical school. Her moderation skills are of very high standard. Many clients request her to moderate qualitative studies in Chinese due to her ability to manage challenging discussion guides and tough interviews with a firm and pragmatic approach. Prior to launching the Asian operations of QualWorld Brandy was the Head of Qualitative Project Management at WorldOne from 2008 to 2013, and client’s executive, Senior project manager in Synovate Healthcare from 2003 to 2008.

Mami has joined QualWorld in 2015 as a Senior Project Manager to manage the studies in Asia. As a Japanese native, she is also responsible for resources expansion and business development in Japan. While working as a Senior Project Manager, she also started moderation for Japan studies and she has gained in-depth experience in working on different types of studies such as product profile evaluation, message and concept testing, product positioning studies, treatment landscape studies, Patient’s journey, device testing, logo, brand name and label testing, pricing and market access evaluation, or evaluation of unmet needs. She has been working in the capacity of Senior Research Consultant Japan Expert since 2018.

She started her career in the hospitality industry after she moved to Hong Kong where she gained experience in marketing, business development, and recruitment consulting. She transitioned to the market research field in 2009, joining WorldOne (currently Sermo) where she was responsible for handling healthcare quantitative, qualitative, and market track studies in Asia especially in Japan. Mami was also involved in setting up the call center in Dalian (China), especially with staff recruitment and training. Prior to joining QualWorld in 2015, she worked at SSI (current Dynata) where she handled B2B CATI studies in various countries in Europe, USA, Middle East, and Asia.
